Special Requirements and Tight Deadlines
A food processor for the high-protein pet food market had a special requirement for the new plant upgrade and automation system. Space for the process piping was limited and there were a number of valves for directional control that required tight control over the timing of opening and closing.
Coyle Supply reviewed the project with the instrument engineers and the head maintenance superintendent and recommended several 2”- 6” 3-way flanged end, stainless steel ball valves from AT Controls with El-O-Matic fail safe actuators. Based upon the customers minimal space and corrosion issues from caustic washdowns, Coyle Supply also offered the Stonel compact valve monitor with magnetic contact switches and LED light indication for contact verification. Coyle Supply was able to turn the seventy valve project around in under four weeks.
